Building vibrant teams that can take on multiple roles and with more autonomy will not only help you today, but will be your best recruiting and training tool for the future. 

FSR Panel: 

FSR Magazine Editor-In-Chief Nicole Duncan debuts at Mise to dive into the Modern Hotel Restaurant; what do the best restaurants at hotels look like, and what makes them tick? With a diverse panel from different parts of the country and different types of properties, you’ll take away insights to inform your next menu change, new concept or buildout. 


  • A cuisine deep dive into Turkish and middle-eastern cuisine, with a tasting, from one of the leading experts in the country. Learn the authentic dishes that are ripe for interpretation on American menus. (Haven’t agreed to terms yet, so we can’t name names)

  • What happens in the kitchen…belongs on IG! Mise fan favorite Leigh Loftus returns with a focus on turning what you and your teams do every day into a regular stream of content that can boost your personal profile, gain interest from potential hires, and win F&B business for your property. This session will combine photo technique with social media marketing savvy. 

  •  Meet Gin’s New Wave: Spirits in Motion’s Tony Pereyra shows us what’s shaking with the booming category of gin. So much more than the juniper-driven spirits of yesteryear, there are some amazing new entrants in the category from women- and minority-owned producers that are redefining what gin can be. This interactive tasting session will inspire you to new creations for the bar, and the food menu, too.
